Tips for a Great Senior Portrait Experience

Here is what you need to know before your photo session. Please read over the tips for a successful senior portrait session and perfect photos before coming to your sitting. We will be shooting here in the studio and on location.  We’ll decide on the location before your appointment.

First of all, consider bringing a friend along. You will have lots of fun plus, you’ll each receive a discount and a bonus photo! Your appointments will be scheduled together and you’ll both have plenty of time for your poses.

• Don’t worry about blemishes. Professional re-touching is included in your package.

• Have your hair cut  the week before the shoot

• Fingernails should clean and well groomed

• Make sure your outfits are clean and wrinkle free

• Clothing

• • For each outfit change, put the accessories and shoes in a bag and attach it to the hanger  of that outfit

  • Make sure your shoes are clean – no mud or scuffs

• Bring chap stick or gloss to keep your lips moist

• If you wear glasses clean them before the shoot

  •  Ask your eye glasses provider if you can borrow a pair of frames without glass

• Practice your smiles. Close your eyes, think a thought , then open your eyes to see the look on your face

• Get plenty of rest the night before your session.

• Drink lots of water the day before and the day of your session.
